STAINLESS STEEL COIL
About Stainless steel coil
Our high-quality Stainless Steel Coil is well-known for its precision and long-lasting durability. Because of their thermodynamic properties, electromagnetic properties, and mechanical properties, Stainless Steel Coils are in high demand in the market. Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Coils are made from hot-rolled slabs or billets, which are then cold worked. Coils made using these methods have excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, are long-lasting, and require little maintenance.
We provide Stainless Steel Coils in various grades, including 304 Stainless Steel Coils, 310 Stainless Steel Coils, 316 Stainless Steel Coils and many more.
Hot rolled coils are often used in applications where dimensional tolerances are not very critical, such as railroads and construction materials.
HRAP coils have a cleaner surface and have improved mechanical properties for downstream processing.
Hot rolling involves deforming a slab at high temperature and roll pressure. High finishing temperature ensures the production of a uniform rolled product and prevents the possibility of unwanted strain hardening. After hot rolling, the long thin sheets are spun into coils and left to cool, these are called Hot rolled coils.
Cold Rolled (CR) Coils
Cold rolling is performed to produce sheets and strips with smooth surfaces, having a better surface finish with accurate dimensions. After cold rolling, the long and thin sheets are spun into coils called Cold Rolled coils.
In terms of physical characteristics, cold rolled materials are typically harder and stronger than standard hot rolled counterparts. As the material is deformed at a lower temperature, the steel’s hardness and resistance against deformation get increase due to work hardening.
